SSE Pacifico is pleased to announce that Dai Karasawa will assume the role of President, effective 1 July 2023.
Currently Executive Vice President and COO, Dai will drive SSE Pacifico's overall business as President. Mike Seaton, Representative Director and CEO, will assume the role of Representative Director.
SSE Pacifico was established in October 2021 to develop offshore wind in Japan. It is a joint venture between SSE Renewables, a member of the UK-listed integrated energy group SSE, and Pacifico Energy K.K., one of Japan's largest renewable energy generators.
Paul Cooley, Global Director of Offshore Wind at SSE Renewables, said:

Under Dai's leadership, SSE Pacifico will further promote the development of offshore wind development in Japan to achieve net zero.
