WIND HOKKAIDO (Hokkaido Offshore Wind Forum 2023, organised by WIND HOKKAIDO Organizing Committee) was held in Sapporo on 20 July to provide local people with information on offshore wind power and discuss the future of offshore wind power in Hokkaido.
Dai Karasawa, President of SSE Pacifico, participated as one of the panellists in the panel discussion "Can Hokkaido become a 'wind kingdom' - offshore wind power and Hokkaido's future". He introduced the company and gave his opinion on what is needed for Hokkaido to become the "Kingdom of Wind".
SSE Pacifico will continue to contribute to the provision of information and the development of offshore wind power in Japan through these opportunities.
