Director of Offshore, Global, SSE Renewables, presents at Japan's Renewable Energy Parliamentary League

Paul Cooley, Global Director of Offshore at SSE Renewables, an 80% shareholder of SSE Pacifico, visited Japan to speak at the Liberal Democratic Party's Renewable Energy Parliamentary League.

SSE Renewables is currently leading the construction of more offshore wind than anyone else in the world.

The presentation covered projects such as the Dogger Bank offshore wind farm, which will be the world's largest offshore wind farm when completed (3600MW, fixed bottom), and Project Ossian, one of the world's largest floating offshore wind farms currently under development (in partnership with Marubeni Corporation and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners), as well as the UK's experiences and learnings.
